Birjoo Mehta

Birjoo H Mehtais one of the very senior teachers of Iyengar Yoga from Mumbai. He started learning yoga directly under Guruji Iyengar since 1974 and has extensively travelled with him during many of Guruji Iyengar tours to Europe, USA and Australia. He has been invited to lead National Iyengar Yoga Conventions in UK, Spain, Germany, France, and South Africa and has conducted workshops in Israel, Ireland, Hong Kong, Canada and USA. He is the managing Trustee of the Light on Yoga Research Trust in Mumbaiand regularly teaches in Mumbai. He is an engineer by profession from the reputed Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
